Our Story...

We were introduced by Sophie's good friend from college, and Eric's cousin, Marion MacMillan (now also a bridesmaid in our wedding!) through an email in January of 2012 that went something like this: 

 

Hello! thought I would make the introduction to two excellent people who are avid skiiers, travelers, and NYC faves of mine. I thought you two might enjoy a night on the town together since I always have the BEST time with each of you individually. If I were in town, I would totally join the party, but as you're aware, I'll be gone from tomorrow until March 1st (tear). Anyway, have drinks, chat, whatever...thought you two would at least enjoy each other's company. Lets all hang when I get back. I'll miss you!!! Marion xxxxxxx

 

In October 2013 Eric came over to visit Sophie after she finished a month long work trip in Europe. They spent a long weekend in Bourgogne, France biking through the vineyards. Eric proposed at dinner on their last night and Sophie said yes!
